Suya Yaji Kabobs

These kabobs are super easy to prepare, and provide a delicious nutty, slightly spice flavor that is sure to spice up your next cookout!

Suya Yaji Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch chunks

  • 2 large bell peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces

  • 1 large onion, cut into 1 inch pieces

  • 2 tbsp Caravan Spices Yaji Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 10 Skewers

Steps

  1. Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes

  2. While the skewers are soaking, cut the meat and vegetables into approximately 1 inch pieces

  3. Put the beef into a bowl or freezer bag.  Add the oil and Yaji seasoning, and toss to coat evenly (if any pieces of meat arent coated with the seasoning, add a bit more of the Yaji seasoning).

  4. Marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Assemble the skewers, alternated pepper, beef and onions.

  6. Turn the grill on to medium-high heat.  Place the kabobs on the pre-heated grill, and grill for about 8-10 minutes on each side, or until beef is cooked thoroughly.

  7. Remove skewers from the grill and serve.
